Help!

Thread Starter
Well I am building my first computer today and I've got everything hooked up but now there is no output from the GPU and there are no beeps from the motherboard. So I really need help getting my first project jump started. The parts I am using are as follows:
GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
i7 950
GTX 470 Gigabyte
G.SKILL 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3

P.S: I have already switched out the graphics cards from my old computer and the same result happened, I also tried booting the computer with no graphics card in and it did not beep or anything still. Please help!

Well it's always a chance you can reseat the cpu.Sometimes a speck gets in there and blocks a pin from connecting,or the cpu has a speck on one of the gold dots on the back.

Also try it with just one ram stick. And try pulling the battery for a minute to let the board go dead.A cmos clear isn't working if you don't have to reset the time.

What do you mean reset the time, it is not even booting up to the bios.

There isn't an onboard speaker on that. So your case has to have come with one and have it plugged up.

Make sure everything is seated properly and plugged in. Power cables and all. Try different PCIe slots too.

Ok well I've already tried all that and nothing has seemed to work...

If you don't have the motherboard speaker in, this motherboard will not post. I had the same problem, check that.

Have you tried using one stick of RAM in each slot? Switch it up the sticks of RAM. You may have one bad stick of RAM or one bad DRAM slot.

Yes I tried using different sticks of RAM and I also put them in different slots using one at a time. I plugged it into some speakers and still no beeping.

@SmokingWaffle No luck with that but thanks for the input.
