Civ 5 for freeeee - Page 5

My first time snowboarding, the guy who was showing me how took me to the top of the mountain and showed me how to strap my foot in. Then he took off down the mountain without me. It was a black diamond. Needless to say, I made it down alive. It was incredible.

Winner.

This is the most amazing to me, being fearful of getting hit by a car the moment before impact, or getting an adrenaline rush of doing something potentially dangerous (albeit intended) or even the wonder of creation... I don't think anything could top it for me other than being so connected to another human like in combat. I've never been in that situation, but this story floored me.

Grats on Civ 5, and thank you very much for your service to our country. Thanks everyone for participating, I really enjoyed all of your stories!

For me, the first time I really felt alive was when I severely broke my arm. I was rushed into the ER and given pain drugs, and sleeping drugs. The adrenaline fueled me up and was I half awake with hallucinations and a weird feelings. My arm was swollen to twice the normal size and I ended up getting nails inside them. I guess that's my first time "alive".
