Gtx 460...

Thread Starter
Hey, I just created a thread last night about my crazy OC's on my GTX 460.

I just got a new 27" 1080p monitor would that mean that I would have to re-oc the card? Because last night it was running stable at the speeds listed in this thread 902/1804/2200, but when I run BFBC2 for less than the time I stressed tested (test = 10 minutes, game = about 3) the card crashes, ***!?

Help with this issue please.

if its crashing then try lower the OC
if it still crashes then make sure u got latest drivers, patches etc

passing stress test should mean your OC is stable so could be other issue if it still crashes after lowering the OC.

Have you maxxed the voltage in Afterburner? If not you could try bumping it up further.

Yep, the max is 1.1v and that's what it's at. You'd think at that voltage it should be able to handle 900/1804/2200 pretty well. Guess I was wrong...

Doesn't the new MSI Afterburner BETA allow you to take the voltage higher?
Failing that, you could take it up to 1.15v on air with NibiTor:- http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/7819...ap-unlock.html

Just make sure your MOSFETs are under a fan or have heatsinks if you go higher.
