NZXT Sentry 2 Help

Thread Starter
Hi all,

Just got the sentry 2 and had a couple of questions..

firstly, the tempreture probes, should i attach those near the fan its self or near the item its meant to be cooling?

second question, the controller monitor's 5 fans..

Now I have 6 Fans (1 front, 1 side, 2 top, and 2 rear)
the 2 rear are connected together (my H70) however will the fan controller run the right voltage for them if i connect them to the fan controller as 1 fan? not quite sure best way to approach this?

Thanks for your advise.

place temp sensor to place you want to cool. I have mine on Sentry LXE likte this:
1. MB VRM
2. MB SB
3. MB NB
4. side of cooler base
5. hanging in my case to see case temp

and about fans: hmmmmmmm
look at what max voltage can handle sentry 2 for one fan. if the 2 fans together needs more voltage I would say it is risky? but on this im not sure for 100%

well suppose i didnt split them, since its a push and pull setup would it be a bit too much if i only put 1 on the controller?

suppose i upped the revs on that particular fan and it was pushing in more air than the other fan was blowing out?!?
would it cause problems?
