Maybe it's because you sweat profusely from your palms.

I have a mamba and its great, although a bit big for my hands as I have small hands. But still a great mouse and good that it gives you the ability to be wired or wireless.

What about this Razer Imperator USB Wired Laser Gaming Mouse? I'm not sure the price is still that good. Hope u find the best bet.

Deathadder all the way. I love my 3.5g.. maybe because it's a lefty mouse, but it feels great in my hands and it's built really well too, it doesn't feel flimsy like my lachesis did.

I vote for the Deathadder, I would say anything above about 2000 DPI is just marketing. Also, the Phillips TwinEye sensor in the 5600 DPI mice Razer makes has some problems.
