OC e5200 2.5Ghz to 3+

Hi!

Im new here, and trying to overclock my cpu as u can tell!
Right now im running at 3Ghz, 12.5x240, memory frequency at 880.
4gb pc6400 ddr2 ram, 800mhz.

But i have some questions on the way: my SPD is auto(4.0), should i lower this?
I have read that its best to have 1:1, but then i have to manually lower it to 2.00.
The good thing about this is that i could raise the cpu frequency, should i do this?

btw does anyone know why it is auto set on 4.00?

Ah. Looks like we have the same computer LOL.
But yes. Change the SPD to 2. That should bring it 1:1.

Here is a guide for our motherboard
