What digital cable do I need?

I have a pioneer 520 receiver which supports all of the digital formats avaiable. However I do not know what the cables looks like for the forte so I could connect it to the amp. I think it is something like: http://www.memoryexpress.com/Product...2%28ME%29.aspx or http://www.memoryexpress.com/Product...8%28ME%29.aspx. I think it is a digital coaxial cable. Which one would you guys choose for the best quality?

Also, off-topic on my own topic. Which audio cables should I use for my speakers so I can connect it to the receiver? Does the gauge really matter?

Alright so I'm on the right track. Cheers! Man those are inexpensive.

Hey, would the same cable work for an sub? Or is a specific cable needed fr the sub itself. There are 2 cables for the sub though? Left and right?

yeah the same cable will work for a sub. some subs have 2 inputs left and right, you can use either one or both with a splitter, second input is for stronger signal. most new subs have one input. my sub has 2 i only use one and it works just fine.

sorry i didnt see that you're from Canada, i'm not sure if Monoprice ships to canada.

Hmm, alright. I think my amp only has a single plug for the sub anyways.

It's alright. I'm going to be picking up the cables locally so I can get right to it.
