MAJOR confusion and problems with GTX 480 installation EK water block **PICS**

I was modding, assembling and preparing my case and parts for water cooling and had no problems really. I cut the bottom of my corsair 800D for a 240 rad, was a pain but not really to big of a deal, I also performed many other tasks no problem but when I got to installing the water blocks for the gpu's I hit a wall and am extremely frustrated.

1. As it says on the instructions you first unscrew the 17 screws on the back to take off the stock heat sink. So I unscrew the 4 screws with the springs just fine and put them aside. But then I begin on the others... absolutely insanely hard to get out. Even my father who is an ox basically, professional fighter, very handy has worked in all fields of construction since he was 14 had very difficult time unscrewing them. When he pulled the first one out he noticed there was a paste or glue to keep it in place, and to keep others from taking the screw out. And he took two more out and it was the same thing. One of the screws is either threadbare or the shaft broke because it just spins, and it was like that before we even touched it. And the other ones we just could not get out and completely got stripped so now we are screwed and have no idea what to do now. If you have any suggestions please help, I have been working on computers forever and never have come across something like this.

2. I have one other concern, the manual says there are to holes you have to screw in to that are not on either one of my cards, and both of my cards of not the same and they are basic models and should be compatible:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814500156
That is one of them and the other is just a galaxy gtx 480.
And neither of them had the holes. I will give pics.

MANUAL

Card and no holes

Sorry for bad quality but those holes circled in red on the manual just are not there on either card, plus the whole screw thing scares me and I am afraid to try the other one. Are others having this same issue? Anyone got any ideas?

I think you mis understand I am not trying to mount the water block, I am trying to remove the stock heat sink.

With the exception of my first 480, I used a power drill to get the screws out. Btw, they aren't Phillips, but some other thread that is pointier. Forgot what it's called. That's why ur stripping them
