BF BC2:Vietnam, anyone still artificating?

Is anyone still getting any small black square artifacting? I updated my drivers on my 4890 from 10.7 to 10.12 (used driver sweeper) etc....

I even noticed I got small circular black "bubbles" popping in and out on a certain map when my 4890 reached about 83°C 98% load in game.

I'm just curious, I know I goggled BC2 artifacting and found some stuff from people having multicolored artifacts and such, mine are just minute black squares that literally "flash" on the screen and disappear within have half a second.

Is there a way to check whether this is a driver issue or hardware failure? I'm just more worried about it being hardware related, b/c I was getting 50+ FPS on HIGH graphics on 1920x1080 res. and would like not to buy another card, unless it is necessary.

Thank you.

Could be something like the shader problem in BF2.

That fix was changing the game settings a few times until it's gone.

Would it be confidently stated that the issue is game related and not hardware?

I always use an antistatic mat AND antistatic wrist strap with my components.
I also only used AMD ATI Overdrive for a short while while monitoring my temperatures via GPU-z.

As stated above, I am reaching 83°C on 100% load (stock settings) on the 4890, in BF BC2.

I do not believe I get any artficats in Call of duty or anything other games.

Do you think reformatting Windows 7, and reinstalling the game clean on a fresh OS will make any difference? If not, then I won't bother wasting the 2+ hours to do all of that....

Please let me know, thank you for your reponse (I have repped you)

Try playing around with the bloom and DirectX versions.
