Im upgrading from a HIS 5770, can't decide which one to get. I hear that 5850 is better in some ways and vice versa.

Asus 5850 for $180 after rebate.

or

HIS 6870 for $205 after rebate.

Any input would be awesome. Thanks.

EDIT.
I also plan to crossfire, so if you could also tell me which is better in Xfire that would be much appreciated.

Out of those 2 - 6870.
BUT, if you can find reference 5850-take it and OC it to 900\\1200. This will be better than 6870.

that 5850 for $180 is a nice deal. You can easily overclock it to 5870 performance. Either card is good though.

Found this ref. 5850 card for $200. But i haven't heard good stuff about Diamond.

The Asus one you've linked and the reference Diamond both have software voltage tweaking.

I like the reference look better, but the Asus one is cheaper and will get the job done with the same quality as the reference versions.

Look doesn't really matter to me. I just want the best performance, temps, OC.
