2x GTX 460: To SLI or not to SLI ? And which OS? (noob here)

Hi guys !

I'm in the middle of finishing my long awaited Folding rig and I have some questions left:
I have bought 2 GTX 460's and I was wondering: Do I put them in SLI, yes or no ?
Also, what OS should I use ? Windows XP Prof 64 bit or Windows 7 64 Bit ?

Thanks !

Win 7 64bit, and for folding you use them without SLI, for gaming turn SLI on no problems there If you need help setting up the clients bigadv and GPU3 just ask

This is my first rig i've ever built with 2 graphics cards. You say 'for gaming turn on SLI'. I will use this rig for folding only (24/7), but do I still need to put in place that SLI bridge then ?

No SLi Bridge needed, when folding the client only cares about the GPU so for the second card just use the flag -gpu 1 and they both will fold with no issues

Noob question, what do you mean by "folding"?
