Hello OCN Schaden here, I have decided to finnaly start my worklog for my new scratch acrylic/aluminium tower.
Santa decided to be awesome this year and bring me a EK 480 rad, an XSPC Rasa and an EK 4.0 pump. What Santa didnt bring me was my barbs and tubing ect.
I have been working in AutoCAD for the past day or two splashing ideas around and have come up with the very young prototype design you will see below. The colour will be supplied by RGB leds and a RGB controller so they will not always be the purple/magenta colour shown in the render.
Early Render - The lighting got a bit messed up... ignore the reflections
- Seperate chamber for powersupply, radiator and HDDs
- Showcase the SSD chamber
- Radiator Showcase
- 4x120mm exuast at the roof
- BATX or inverted ATX (have not decided which yet)
- Fan controller stealthed onto the front of the case
The acrylic will be laser cut (when i can afford to XD) this is to ensure all the cuts are perfect and wont need to be sanded (im lazy). Lasercutting will allow the side panels to line up perfectly with the outer casing
The original project has will have to wait until my next rig as I decided to go ITX. This is now going to be a modded Lian Li PC-Q08 which will be following the original asthetics. It will be coming together over the next month, I already have most of my watercooling gear and am only waiting on radiators and my ram/mosfet/chipset waterblocks (these are coming from America).
