HTPC Case???

Thread Starter
Hey everyone,

I need some advice on a HTPC case and where I should get it. I live in Australia and buying online is an option so could anyone please point me in the right direction.

It needs to be full size ATX support as micro probably wont offer me dual gigabit LAN but if anyone can find a dual gigabit microATX board please let me know here aswell.

Thank you inadvance!

Take a look here

PC Case Gear HTPC Search

It's where I got my Silverstone LC17 from and that has ATX support .

I can also vouch for PCCaseGear as can most of the Aussie guys on here I had a CPU on backorder which they took delivery of yesterday and it was on my doorstep at 8am this morning (I live in TAS) which I am absolutely stoked about.

Edit: Also here is some info on my current HTPC case:

For a full ATX support case I went with an Apevia HTPC case, here's how it looks on newegg:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811144231

and here's how it looks with everything set up (and a full size PSU)

certainly better cases out there, but for the money & room it provides, I like it.

As far as where it can be purchased in Australia, that I do not know.

Depending if you need the ATX or mATX case, Antec makes some great HTPC cases. Tend to be about $100 or there about. But this price includes a 300watt 80+ power supply. Tend to be real quiet also, which helps in the HTPC.

anything that looks cute would do an htpc. (ok i sound like i`m trolling)
well its in your taste, if you preffer it being showcased(being displayed in the open) then get a good looking case. if you often hide the pc somewhere like behind the monitor or under the table then anything that is small will do. check out orions or termaltake's lanbox.
