Just so i know where i am, if i dont see a change in temps after doing this method, any other ideas as to what the problem may be?

Also does it matter if its cheap paste? I mentioned it a few posts back

no not really. Only in OC'ing stuff it makes a difference.


I have some generic stuff that works fine. Ebay for the win!

check bios and see if there are options for fan speed for the cpu. the fan might be at the lowest power by default or something.

I've reapplied the thermal paste using the blob in the center method to no avail So ive ordered a new cooler
