Question about 3d vision

Thread Starter
Does the 3d vision kit require a 3d tv? I have an lg plasma tv but it's not 3d ready, will it work with 3d vision?

Nvidia 3D vision requires a 3d ready TV or monitor which has a 120 mhz refresh rate.

So if your tv doesn't support 3d, the kit won't work on it.

This.

Most likely, if you monitor/TV supports 3D, it will advertise it somewhere on the product.

This is a different support.

AMD support requires 3rd party drivers which also cost a pretty penny.
Nvidia support it out of the box, but you need the glasses.
