[Playfront] Test drive unlimited 2 '101 cars' - Page 3

I'm perplexed by some of the car choices. Do we need 5 different Bugatti's, 4 Spykers (ugliest expensive cars ever), or a bunch of Astons? Shades of grey, lots of them!

I haven't played the beta for a while but it was downright terrible - Mario Kart had better physics and handling... and this is no joke. I cannot describe the level of disappointment. I think I sat on the craper for 45 minutes just *****ing to myself after the first play session.

I'm going to wait for the youtube videos after the release and hope Eden came to some type of sense.

Well, First beta handling was quite crappy indeed, Then they added a new Wheel adjustment system (and controllers too) And it definitely significantly improved, Although still not like TDU1 Also When this game was announced they said they wanted the cars to be more arcadey but they are real cars. And really with a few adjustments they can accomplish that, I dont know if they have or not.

People need to remember this is not TDU The real driving simulator, Its a game where you can go fast in real cars and actualy feel like your in one unlike on a closed circuit that you cant escape from, Hence the reason im pre-ordering it

Except they drive so unrealistically you don't feel like you're in a car. Well...unless you want to feel like you're driving a slot car.

I enjoyed TDU a lot. Played it A LOT! I enjoyed the feel of the arcade style controls. The best part was shifting for me.

Have not tried the beta. I don't wanna be dissappointed with PC games anymore so I'll just wait until it's released.

I've had this one pre-ordered since they opened it. It isn't terrible from playing the Beta, but you can tell they are definitely in the process of cleaning things up. I remember when the beta first opened it was terrible but after playing some of the newer releases for it I have a feeling the game is going to have a more polished feel to it. I personally can't wait for it.

Some people need to quit it with this: "you have to remember it's not a simulator it's an arcade game " BS. This line is far past being bothersome.

First of all we all know this will be an arcade game, stop being captains of obvious. Second, whether this is an arcade racer or simulator bad handling is bad handling and that's it.

It's nothing more than sheer stupidity to excuse bad handling for arcade handling.

I have to agree with that part.
