Days get closer for the sandy bridge!

So far im runing a dual core at 3.36ghz overclocked and a gtx 470 + 450 gts for physic. and 8G of ram.

I have ben tryng to upgrade but afortenaly after 7 years i can t upgrade more my old 775 socket pc. So i was thinking NEW pc is needed. time to upgrade yes !

But see im on a budget of maybe max 500$ now if its worth going higher then i might depending on what would be best and this is why im here today.

So my question would be i7 950 setup, or wait for the migthy sandy bridge, witch is better ? now i know that the i7 950 is gona drop price when the SB's or coming out. but my question is more about the product then the price because like i said i dont mind going maybe a little bit over 500 for a good pc. So is SB a BEAST ?

The 950 vs 2600K debate is going to be heating up soon. Both sides have pro's and cons. I'd say just wait till SB is released and buy the cheaper combo. They're both going to perform about the same, SB will overclock higher and run cooler tho.
