No, it isn't the monitor, they ask you if it is plugged in. LOL.

True story, I got a call from my grandmother and she asked me why her computer wasn't working, i asked her if it was plugged in....it wasnt. LOL.

Oh. That is nothing.

My dad had a PhD high-caliber physicist come to him and ask him about this strange irregular clicking noise his computer was making. Evidently said PhD was unfamiliar with the standard Windows OS mouse-click sound.

it doesnt matter. memory interface is the most important spec. if its low it will bottle neck and suck. This has to be one of the fasts cards of all time
eh... yeah its fairly important.. but there are a lot more important factors.

say i bought an 8400GS that just happened to have a 512-bit memory bus, that doesn't make it the fastest card on the planet..

Notice he got quiet

Ill take 2 lane that can travel at 80mph anytime then 5 lane with 25mph unless there is an accident in the 2 lane highway

PhD*

I really don't see how he fails, and his PhD doesn't really mater since he's not in the computer/software field. It's like getting a degree in electrical engineering, then being told to fix a cars engine.

The older generation might not be familiar with computers. It is not something to criticize them for. Perhaps the computers that he is familiar with did not have mice.

Also don't make fun of computer engineers. There is more to computers than just downloading games off Steam and installing hardware drivers on Windows.
