I cant decide what ram to buy. I will be using build for gaming, internet browsing, and general use. These are some choices:

i can get the 6gb one for only $65. Ive heard that 6gb is overkill for games, but I was wondering if it would be more future proof. This is the motherboard Ive already ordered and might get here tom.

Triple Channel Kit is for Intel.
I like these G.SKILL ECO Series 4GB and these G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB are nice too.

The base timing.
Example
Your 8-8-8-24.
Mine 9-9-9-24.
Ok. What people don't know will cost them more money. Both set will hit 7-8-7. So why paid more money for the same timing.

Thanks
Get the Ripjaws. They run at 1600MHz like the others, but have lower CAS latencies, at the same price as the other 4GB kit, and unless you do 3D modeling or heavy Photoshop and audio/video editing, you won't need the 6GB. Besides, it's triple-channel, so you'll only get 2 of them running dual-channel on your board, and one will be in single-channel mode.

Nope. All three sticks will be single channel. AMD will do single or dual channel not both.

I never knew that. Thanks! So that's yet another reason for him to go with the Ripjaws
