Would a 2500k (or something similar) run the card any better than the x6, and if so - what sort of performance increase would i see?

Is Sandy-Bridge 4 cores going to demolish Phenom 6 cores?

With 1 card, you should have similar performance except when it comes to games that love CPU architecture, such as Far Cry 2 and a few others (not quite sure which though).

If you run SLI, I heard that Intel handles it much, much better than AMD. However I am unsure on that.

I had an AMD 955 BE and an NF980-GD65 with SLI GTX 260's and saw little to no performance increase.

Bulldozer could be the biggest gimmick of the history. I can almost see AMD posting a video on youtube: "Here's Bulldozer" and there'll be Rick Astley in the video, singing you know ther rest...
I found that the most entertaining post in this thread.
