[Androidized] Android to Become Market Leader in 2011 - Page 12

It was a hard toss up for me when I was purchasing my new contract. I was leaning toward the iP4 because of its elegant glass design, and brilliant display. However, there is VERY LITTLE customization with the iphones. I ended up with my EVO, albeit, not the best looking display, but its power, smoothness, and SUPREME customization features had me sold. Now that I run my own custom rom, its even better! The words custom and personal, are hardly in Apple's vocabulary. They want their customers to follow the trend, be uniform, thats what its all about to them.

I prefer freedom, customization, and personalization! I want a home screen, with my apps and utilities on a separate window. I want to be able to BT to my friends' phone, and share pics, and music, and apps. The world is full of people, different in every way, shouldn't are phone be the same. I hope Android takes over, it deserves it.

I think many people buy iphone because they think it is perfect. But I want to say something:

- the antena: http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...iphone+antenna
- typos problem: http://discussions.apple.com/message...ageID=11900584

What i wanted to point out is that the "perfection" of iphone is a bad thing. Nothing is perfect. So, trying to make everything perfect will make its developers to make it small, no multitasking, no everything and it is still not perfect, because it have issues. There is no such thing as a perfect phone. What looks good for some people may look bad for others.

Glad to see this. It's kind of funny, I'm the only person in my pre-calc class that has an Android phone. Everyone else has an iPhone, and they had not even heard of Android.
