One thing, please refrain from double posting. There is an edit button for a reason .

Memtest is NOT a stability test. All that tells you is if there's something physically wrong with your memory. You'll need to run Prime95 blended (forcing 3/4 or more of your RAM to be used) to test stability.

There is no such thing as SLI Memory.

I apologize. also the option i speak of is SLI-ready memory, it is a bios setting but i do not appear to have it. And i believe this may be what is hindering me....because it has a set of options under it. here is the link to the service manual:

There is no such thing. Memory is memory. Your BIOS must just be retarded I guess. DDR2 is DDR2 is DDR2. The only differences are speed, timings, and size. And obviously single vs. dual channel. But there is no such thing as "SLI Ready" Memory. It is 110% a marketing gimmick. Just like SLI Certified power supplies.

I understand that. would doing a bios flash be an option to enable said feature...even though i am paranoid about bricking another board?

I can guarantee you that feature isn't what's holding you back. It's probably your memory divider that you're using. Have you tried going to 1:1 yet at 333 FSB? That would put your RAM at 667. Just for shiggles.

Ok, to update I followed Pioneerisloud's advice and tried doing fsb at 333 and ram at 667. it did not work. I am wondering if it could be a BIOS issue. also could it possibly be my voltages and or frequencys besides the cpu? I know there are other settings. should i up the northbridge to 1.4? or increase voltage elswhere according to my BIOS? also there is an update availible, should i bite the bullet and update? Could this fix the issue?
