Adjusting Ram speed

Hey guys i'm fairly new to this site so forgive me if I sound like a beginner. But recently I built my first computer and was wondering what RAM settings would be best for my PC. I am using a Biostar TA880GB+ motherboard, CPU: AMD Athlon II x2 260 OC to 3.6, RAM: Kingston HyperX Blu 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600.

Heres are my CPU-Z results:

Welcome to OCN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i alwys went with what was on the RAM stickers and went from there. A slight voltage increase and dropped the timings a bit from what they are stock. My 1600 is running at 1770. I just went by what someone else to me to set them at.

Hopefully someone will do the same for your case. Look at peoples systems that are similar to yours and check out their ram timings.

i got the KHX blu kit too and i got it to 1666@165v w/ 8-9-8-20-1t, and i tried 1332@165v w/ 6-6-6-18-1t (some say this spec has better 3dmark) i didn't test, and didn't notice the "real world" difference so i set it back to 1666,
i tried tighter timing @1666 but it won't boot even with raised volts so i guess i'm at a wall...please if you can please let me know how

Alright I went into the BIOS and I don't have the CPU Tuning tab, however when I do have Hyper Transport Configuration which only allows me to set it up to a max of 2000.

Also as far as DRAM timing goes, I went into the tab however I couldn't figure out which values to change.

Below I have taken a screen shots of my T-Series tab and DRAM Timing Config. I'm unsure about what to adjust in either of them.

By the way I really appreciate the help, I'm just new to over-clocking so I have a hard time with the terminology.

Post a pic with CPU FID/VID and Hyper Trans. Config.
Leave the Memory for now, comp. might not boot and you will have to reset your BIOS
