Hello from Chicago! Also need some input... :)

Hey guys I'm Kris from Chicago, not new to building/oc'ing but I always come to this forum to read up on stuff so I thought I should join. I also need some help deciding if theres anything I could do to improve my airflow in my case. I am looking to get a new case sometime soon but for now I'd like to know if you guys could help me out!

Green = fans
Red= warm air
Blue = cool air

I have the ultra aluminus case, and thats my airflow chart that i drew up in paint lol. My GTX 260 is running a bit warmer ever since i put in my H50. I have it set up in a push pull config so it draws air from the outside of the case and blows towards the front of the case, which usually ends up by the DVD drive since when i put my hand there its a lot warmer than it was before.

All my fans are 120mm and I installed the intake in the front today, however the only problem is my HDD cage is blocking probably 50% of that air from actually getting into my system and getting to my 260. Any ideas on what I could do? The Aluminus case has the CPU air duct that i took out and can put a 80mm fan in there as well as an intake (or exhaust?).

Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

With what you've got, I would go for this setup instead (apologies on the mashup of your pic).

If your 260 has a blower going out the rear of the case make the case window fan an intake; if not make the case window an exhaust. If possible try fit a fan under the dvd drive as an intake too

my 260 does have a blower out from the case, The 80mm would sit a little bit above it but would still offer some fresh air. Also do you think it would change my temperatures if i flipped the push pull config on my h50? cause then it would be drawing mildly warm air from inside the case rather than cool air from outside.

If your worried about cold air on the h50, you could mount it under the dvd drive as intake. I would go with this however

I'm not sure why the 1st pic had red arrows coming down from the 260, hot air should mostly be going out the back from the blower & your PSU should also be expelling air through the back also. I also wouldn't worry about your hd cage. The H50 will be fine on the back in push/pull config, have a look here.

Thanks guys! I actually decided im going to buy a CM Haf 932 cause its got the huge side\op fans which ill make into intake fans and then flip my h50 around so it pushes the air out the back!
