Video card upgrade help

post #1 of 5
Thread Starter
I just ordered a new monitor, 23in max resolution 1920xSomething lol. I like playing at high resolutions so should I get another 5770 (I would have to mismatch cards i think, cannot find my original one) or a 6850 (Crossfire future maybe). Will the 6850 help out a lot with my higher resolutions and be better performance against crossfire 5770s?

your PSU might not be enough for 2 5770's

i'd get a 6850 or 6870, and later you can crossfire that card, when it's much cheaper

You remembered the 'hard' one
1080p = 1920x1080

What games do you play?
Personally I'd see how it panned out before blindly buying another 5770..

Haha Well I play Battlefield Bad Company 2, Starcraft 2, CS 1.6, some COD/CSS. I know these games aren't so hard to play so I dont really want to spend my money on the 6870.
