I saw a video by chance on YouToBe few days ago~
The video is introducing one smartphone called MEIZU M9~I have not heard about this until that day~This phone seems great from that video~
Then I search some info of it, and I finally know MEIZU is Chinese brand...um..
And the specifications of this phone are almost the same with iphone4~even the appearance~unbelievable...but M9 is operated with Android system..

Well, anyone like me have heard about this phone? What you guys think about this phone?

More like a Galaxy S ripoff (spec wise). For the price difference I'd just pick up a Galaxy.

Alleged specs (from a Meizu forum. Not sure if I'm allowed to post the link)

GPU: PowerVR 540

Memory: 512MB ROM/RAM

Display: 3.5" 960x640 resolution, 16 million colors

Operating System: Android 2.2 / Android 2.3 in next firmware update.

Battery: 1370 mAh

Price: Around 2500RMB. Us who live outside of China can expect something around $400 including shipping, unlocked of course.

Yeah Engadget's been giving that phone some coverage. Looks pretty nice to me personally.

its a chinese knockoff thats really popular up in the mainland cause of its low price and its iphone 4 look

many chinese want apple prodcuts but cause its so expensive, most people buy knockoffs that look like the real deal to fit in with fashion

its not bad really
i have a couple of friends that have em

It is cheaper, but it's in my opinion just a better device to use. Sound quality on all Meizu's products outperform every other portable player out there. Just because it's chinese doesn't mean it's bad XD. For people on OCN, it should be a great phone, you can tinker with every aspect of how it works. Also, this and the M8 was not and will not be sold outside of china legally. Although there are many gray areas where you can buy them from. I can't afford a M9 but a M8 with a broken touchscreen is en route to me. Plus, there are many innovations that they include, it isn't just a knockoff.
