Samsung has gotten better with the F3's. Just see the poll results here:
http://www.overclock.net/hard-drives...s-samsung.html
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=233920

If it was F3 vs Black, then it'd be a different story, and the slight edge would still go to the F3, since they trade blows, and the F3 is 20% cheaper.

This coming from a fan of WD for a long time.
they don't seem to mention the reliability of the Samsung though...

they go more one performance....

i know the Samsung is a better performer...

but since the OP is having a SSD hdd ....

the spinning disc will be mainly used for storage....

i just can't in good faith.. recommend the Samsung drive

if someone can prove me wrong on the reliability of the Samsung vs the WD... i will coincide and say to get the Samsung

anyway... night all

why would you want to build an nvidia based system, why not get ati, ati is cheaper to save you some money and the performance is always better than what nvidia has to offer, plus if you don't like ati because of the "driver problems" let me tell you it is all nvidia fanboys just flaming ati because they are jealous that ati is better and cheaper at the same time, so i recommend getting the new 6970 or the 6990 when it comes out instead of your nvidia

Show me some truth..
If your going to spout of these claims "ati, bettAH!!!, Nvidia Suxkords!!!" with no rep, At least have some "truth" to back you up..
lol a 570 beats the 6970 in some benches

EDIT: dont worry Ill wait while you go find some cherry picked benches..

I would highly recommend going straight for the water cooling, save yourself the cash, don't waste it on the H70, you will get much better temps from a RS360 kit. I have one and love it.

benchmarks don't mean anything, it's about the real world performance
just like how i7 creams in benchmarks compared to amd but amd and i7 performs pretty much the same
