I would say it depends a lot on what you are going to be using the keyboard for. I am currently typing on a HHKB Pro with blank keycaps, and I must say it did take some time to get used to but that is mostly due to the layout. If you are gaming and have to use the right side of the keyboard with your left hand, it can be rather annoying if your not used to it. I think the blank keycaps give it a nice unique look, and can help with touch typing. If you think you can get away with having blank keycaps, then why not? If you demand accuracy, and if you're not 100% comfertable with no print on the keycaps then get the printed ones.
