Grand Total:$983.77

(Already have an HDD)

My budget is around $1,000. If there are better choices available, please suggest.

It's a nice build, no doubt about it, but doesn't the Dual-core Phenom II 555 seem a bit underpowered? If you manage to unlock ,then the rig would be balanced, if not the CPU is gonna hold it back. I would go with an Athlon II 630

If you plan to unlock, you shouldn't with that motherboard; an unlocked x2 555 will consume 125W, with the weak 3+1 power phase on that motherboard it would be worse than unacceptable - especially with a tower cooler and air skipping the mosfets completely.
Corsair A50 is cheaper than Hyper 212+ by the way
If you give me a minute I'll pull one of my $600 build suggestions from another thread...

That'd be nice. But I increased my budget. I'll update the thread in a sec.

I suggest this bundle deal over the one in the OP. You get a great overclocking motherboard with the same chipset and a better CPU for less money.

You can also get the bundle with the 1090T for the same amount of money as the combo in the OP.

A six core phenom (1055t is good) and a 6950 would be a boss $$$/performance combo. I have 1055t OCed @ 3.5 GHz without a voltage change and it is faaaaaaaaast.

6950 well meet all your 1080p/max IQ settings needs with room for CrossfireX

I don't like how the PCIe slots are really close to each other. Would that be a big problem for dual crossfire?

I see you recommend the Corsair A50 a lot.. is it really a good cooler or do you just recommend it because it's cheap? I'm building a computer and am looking for a good cooler to OC with, should I go for the silverarrow or NH-D14 which seem to be the top air coolers? Possibly an H70?
