reason- i need something to cooler the mosfet, it looks cool as hell, i'm a wannabe OC'er so i want my mobo to look like the good stuff not the cheap nooby stuff(LOL), i got my mobo for $80, and want to improve it please anyone that have a lead please let me know
oh and the reason y i dont want to get an after market one is because dont know which one will fit, and the one that "does" fit looks butt ugly w/o possibility of making it looks betta...please guys i'm begging

I have a Gigabyte mobo, but can't help you there, partly because I live the other side of the world.

If you're serious about OCing you shouldn't do a messy job to try to fit some other cool looking, but possibly ineffective heatsink. There are many options on newegg for motherboard chipser & MOSFET cooling - all those sinks have the specifications written, so you'll know what distance do they have between the mounting holes. You just have to pick up a ruler and your board and see if the distance between the mounting holes corresponds to that of the HS on the web.

My 2 cents

Just buy Enzotech MOS-C10 Forged Copper or Enzotech MOS-C1 Forged Copper Mosfet Heatsinks and put them on your VRM. Both will work great. I use them and oc with them.

thanx for the replies...the thing is i will OC, but at a minimal, not trying to break records, but just to optimize my hardware, i will try to keep everything at "stock" voltage, so i will not need a super effective heatsink, and also since the 890fx series board is meant for OCing, i think that whatever parts gigabyte put on there is effective to a certain point, then lastly again, the copper parts i'm sure r very well made for the job, but it's just butt ugly, i can't bring myself to use something like that considering my rig gonna be pretty dressed up...i'm a car guy and the term is "go and show"...and i am into the "OEM" look, **** if gigabyte was made in Japan then i'll be all over that "JDM" mother***** LOL but yea if y'all can pass the word out and if you run across something then let me know...i will close or delete this thread as soon as i find something... thanx guys
