Thread Starter
Currently making a new computer my first but im stuck on which graphics card to get.

GTX 460
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/227634

Or

Sapphire 6850

The 6850 is a little more expensive but that doesnt mean its better.

You can find some numbers between gtx460 and 6850 from here. This depends on your upgrade path- sli or CF.

What resolution are you planning on gaming at? Just asking because you picked the GTX 460 768mb vs 6850 1gb. If your monitor supports 1920x1080 or higher, I would go with the 6850 (or consider a GTX460 1gb).

Go for the 1GB GTX460, the extra cost will be well worth it. Or wait for the 560.

That's fine. What type of processor and power supply unit do you have? GTX460 won't draw that much power but make sure you power supply unit can handle it.

That PSU can do 41a/492w on 12v, which processor and graphics card use, it has plenty of power for either gtx460 or 6850 so you are ready to go.
