Okay so i want to buy a good cooler for my SB rig to come i got my eye on the H70 with 2 GT-AP15 though will be good but i see H50, NH-D14 and megahalems are good to, can't really decide...
also guys if you can recommend me 2 good fans except AP-15 that would be good for P/P to 2000rpm max

Hi and welcome to OCN.

I'd go with the NH-D14 or Silver Arrow, are more cheap that H70 and sometimes performs much better.

Regarding the fans, the AP-14 are more cheap, produce less noise and peforms pretty similar to AP-15.

It thinking the same thing, H50 and H70 perform nearly the same, it's not worth paying extra. and coolermaster's has some great fans, the " R4's " spin at 2000RPM, 19Dbs, 90CFM

I probably will be picking up a H50 and half a dozen R4's for my H50 and case

EDIT: http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/prod...roduct_id=2916
there is the link, they also can come with blue, green or red LED's

Performance-wise the D14 and Silver Arrow are going to perform considerably better than the H50/H70 especially in a large case such as yours with great airflow. The D14 and SA are both massive coolers, but they're both top 3 in cooling solutions other than Custom Water Loops which cost hundreds of dollars.

Another option to consider is the Thermalright Archon. It's a single tower instead of the dual like the D14/SA and it's nowhere near as wide. It is tall at 170mm but your case should fit it without any issues. The Archon actually outperformed the SA in every test I have seen and the SA usually sits 1-3 degrees cooler than even the D14. With the single stock TY-140 Fan that comes with the Archon, it matches the SA in Dual Fan Config. That is beyond impressive. Therefore, in push/pull, you're probably going to see at least a few more degrees drop off of the load temps which will make it decisively superior to all others mentioned.

In simpler terms:

Archon > SA > D14 > H70 > H50

The only reason to really purchase an H70/H50 is with a small case where there isn't room to house the larger air coolers. In this Case, I would definitely recommend the Archon to you.

The R4's do NOT run at 19dba at full speed, and output 90CFM of air at full speed. More like 69CFM of air at full speed, and 19dba at lowest speed.

Yes, CM crapped up the specifications of that fan by a mile. It's a decent fan, but definitely not as great as most people think.

I'll just throw in my vote for the Megahalems.

It's $60 for the HS, and as much as you want to pay for the fans. That could mean a $5 generic, a $10 Ultra Kaze, a $15 PanaFlo or going on a quest to find a San Ace. Per that logic, the Mega is actually the cheapest option here (unless you want dual Noctua's, which I don't recommend). Check out ehume's Megahalems fan guide for more info:

http://www.overclock.net/air-cooling...ans-112-a.html

Megahalems also seems to be the least hassle compared to the excessive size of the D14/SA and the WC insanity of the H50/H70. It's big, but reasonable.

Plus, the top fins look like Optimus Prime. Can't beat that
