Is something wrong with my Graphics Card?

Thread Starter
For about two weeks now, I have been noticing strange screen tearing things and just a lot of random things happening with my computer that I'm guessing is because of my graphics card... Before I explain what's happening let me get this out of the way:

Drivers are updated, tried downgrading, checked for viruses, ect =P

Anyways, here are the details of things that are happening:

-Whenever I enable my second monitor in Catalyst Control Center there is a faint and short high pitched noise coming from inside my computer

-Games such as WoW and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (not new at all) are taking up 100% usage of the graphics card. Is that normal? I swear in the past it never took up 100%.

-Different kinds of screen tearing.. an example is from time to time when browsing the internet, is for a quick flash of my opposite monitors desktop to appear on my main. Some other examples: If I am scrolling down a website on my main monitor, some screen tearing appears on my second monitor, and just black line screen tearing in general on both monitors randomly. This also appears in games. (This has never happened before)

-When testing for Artifacts with ATI Tool, graphics card is making a loud high pitched noise until turning the test is ended/cancelled.

There's more but it's so random when it wants to be like this so it's hard to get a lot of information.

My main question I guess is: does this sound like a graphics card issue? I live in Canada and I don't really want to have to RMA this to XFX but if I have to I have to.

Try rolling back the driver to the previous one you've had, and give it a good clean.

That whining is coil whine.
Happens with most GPU's and PSU's.

But those issues, random glitching and all, point more towards a driver issue rather than a hardware issue.

GPU's emitting high-pitched noises under duress are nothing to be overly concerned about.
