Stupid mistake, didnt realise i need PCI 6pin connector.

My friend bought a HD 5750 on my recommendation, then we realised it needs a 6 pin connector (i thought his power supply had one)...

Can i get an adaptar? If so what connection from?

it's safe to use a molex to pci-e adaptor.
even better if you can find a 2 molex to single pci-e adaptor...

there should have one included in the box that card came with, or your card...

This kind of thing.

Cheap & simple. Just look for it in Australia, should be easy enough to find.

nope :/. *****ty powercolour. do i NEED a two molex to pci-e or is molex to pci-e enough. Btw this is my option if i cant return it and get a 5670 for him instead.

What kind of brand did yer friend purchased?
I think 2x Molex to 6 pin come inside the box of the card.
That's what I saw with my friend's HIS Radeon HD 5750 iCooler IV.

Forget my question...

Anyway, you can find Molex to 6-pin in many computer shops.
It should be less than $5.
