1. Unless it's a reference design, a XFX cooler wont fit.
2. Taking a part a brand new card will void your warranty, if it dies and you've painted it your buying a new card.
3. Spraying plastics is not only difficult but is also dangerous to some types of cheap plastics, if not prepared and primed correctly the paint will either damage the plastics or simply flake off after time. I paint a lot of different things including cars, plastics I hate the most.
Your best bet is to buy aftermarket cooling for the card, it will still void your warranty but you will have what you want.
