Max OC in 1075t reached?

Thread Starter
Hi,
I've set up my new water cooling system, and I got a new 1075t to replace my old 1055t which could not reach 4ghz stable. Not even with 1.5v
Now with the 1075t is a totally different thing. Luckily this chip seems to be much more ocer than the 1055t.
I'm currently running it at 4200 Mhz at 1.4875v with LLC enabled. It goes up to 1.51v on load.
And the problem comes when I try to go higher than 4.2ghz. No matter what voltage I set, it just won't load windows.
I tried 4.35ghz with 1.6v with no luck. I even tried 1.65v and still nothing.

Should I change any other voltage/config to get past the 4.2ghz?
Any comments are welcome!

Thanks!

4.2ghz is the average wall on any phenom II x6, unless you are using extreme cold.

Sheesh, that's a lot of voltage. Is that safe at all? I know 1.6v would probably fry my Q9550.

It's more efficient to ramp up, yea, but its not necessary. On my new 870 I added 20 and picked a little higher core and it's just stuck. Further on I'll definitely take steps. It's all experimental anyway.

I'm using 300*14 = 4200
The next step is 300*14.5 = 4350

I think i tried upping ram volts, but will try again with NB volt increased too.
But I also tried lowering the ram speed to 1200 mhz with the same result.

As long as it's within .5v of VDIMM, you can go all the way up to 1.65v rated.

EDIT: You meant Vcore. I was talking VTT, but I think it goes the same way.

Ok. I see now. You hitting the FSB wall with your memory. Most DDR 3 1600 hits the fsb wall around 300.
