Replace them with P4s. No one will ever notice.

I'll sig that *****.

Anyways, at my school, they don't even have real PCs: a server and some crappy virtual machines that can't even handle PowerPoint without blackscreening (no joke, sadly).

OP, your school probably got a great deal by buying like 25 dells, instead of them being like $700 a piece, maybe $350 each?

That's the only justification i can think of by not saving all that money and just getting a load of 955's
I think he was talking about my school, that we have i7s and 50 dollar GPUs for CAD class.

P4s, 512mb of ram, 25gb hard drive and some unknown dell gpu here

OMG my schools CAD class is running on Celerons.

I feel like pulling my hair out every time we open up anything.

The worst part is, its the only room which wont even let me remote desktop into my machine :/

At my college we use iMac's with 4GB ddr3, mobile 5870, and xeon quad cores.
They boot in your choice of Leopard or Windows XP.

The most demanding programs we use include:
Microsoft Office
Internet Explorer
Adobe Reader

A large waste of money, no?

Schools IT departments tend to be led by college drop outs that just smoked weed the entire time.

Font difference, buddy; it also says "X5680" in one column and "X5980" in the other. Nice try though
But if that was real, I would crap my pants delightedly and pack my bags
