Trouble with windows 7 and Linux dual boot - Page 2

Still having trouble, my usb isnt being booted off of now and my bios isn't showing the option for boot priority anymore? I shut it down and will start it up again shortly. I have no clue why ubuntu is being so difficult.

There is absolutely no way that any OpSys has altered your BIOS so that Boot Options no longer shows up so enter Setup and find out what you changed. HAL was right. This is human error.

Edit: It is possible though that your system is starved for power with that 300 watt PS and is erratic because of that. Again, check BIOS hardware monitor to verify voltages at least under minimal load. Ideally install an app that will monitor voltages under load. In Linux it starts with lmsensors.
