Either Of These Monitors Any Good?

Samsung BX2450 24" 2ms LED @ $199 w/promo code EMCZNNT54.
ASUS VE276Q Black 27"@ $269 w/promo code EMCZNNT57.

Am hunting around for new monitors... I will at least be dual monitoring and I see no point in going bigger than 27". If the Dell U2311H was on sale for $245 I would snatch them up of course.

dunno man, what are your criteria? massive screen real-estate, budget, viewing distance, display port?

Simply wanted to know whether these are decent by the OCN community standards.

Personally I have yet to decide whether I will dual or triple monitor. If I triple monitor using eyefinity or Nvidia Surround any games will take a pretty big performance hit if I want them to remain high frames and high detail. And I don't plan on spending $500+ on monitors to have to spend $500 on graphics card(s) to make them perform as well as on a single monitor.

I love Samsung, their display quality is stupendous. I say go with the Sammie.

That Asus screen looks good as well though, so if you're wanting a larger screen the prices on both are pretty good. I paid about $240 for my 24" Samsung, and it's not LED.
