So 750w or 850w for my setup:

Asus P6T
Sapphire 6970 Crossfire OC
i7 920 @ 4.2Ghz
6gb Corsair Dominotor 2000Mhz
Antec 1200 case
3 harddrives and a SDD

Will either buy Corsair HX750 or AX850, thanks

Thanks guys So 850w and 1200w is only for people with more than 2 graphics cards or something?

Yes, or two cards that are more power hungry than 6970s, such as GTX 480s or 580s.

850watt is a huge PSU, that can run some major hardware, I would say you could even run your setup with a good 650watt.

Use this calculator.

Remember its not a good idea to run a PSU at its max capacity 100% of the time so if you are planning to get a second card then get the 850 now otherwise the 750 will do the job no problem.

ps the calculator hasn't been updated with latest GPUs so I would use the 5870 as its power consumption I think is similar to a 6970 (maybe a bit more)
