Nevermind that. That overclock just failed me. Lowered it to 800, failed me again. God this is annoying.

there have been quite a few of us here with the ASUS cards with this problem.

One of my cards would not run over .097 voltage (vid of .912). The monitor that card was pushing would just shut off and fan would continue to run. We had a thread about it, I'll see if I can dig it up.

I RMA'd mine, and got a replacement card from another batch, but it too was bad (accepted up to 1.087V in furmark - stock clocks, then crapped out after 10 minutes at stock speeds/volts in game.) still waiting on it's replacement.

I'd say you'll either have to live with not being able to adjust votlage, or RMA it. I'd vote RMA, it's obviously defective.

edit: here's the thread i was talking about: http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/8816...hen-extra.html

I had the same issue w/ my brand new MSI, it would crash on any oc, stock it would hold, but that meant down clocking my other two Zotacs. Since I could not get a refund (ty for nothing Newegg cs ), I rma'd w/ MSI and I have still to get a replacement. Instead of waiting, I got a 3rd Zotac, though a bit more expensive, its worth knowing all three can run vantage easily @ 850 core.

Ouch. That sucks.

I just tried both cards as you lads said earlier (switched one PCI-E lane off) and none of the cards could handle 850mhz core with 1150mV. That's alot of juice. I did notice, the less voltage I give them, the more stable they are... Atleast for a longer period in Furmark... This is weird. I'll contact my supplier immediately.
