So I have a small slight delima.
well two kinda.
So the dvd drive isn't designed to be turned on its side, so i need to figure out a method of holding the CDs in the tray. This isnt such a huge issue because the cd drive is rarely used. Most data is transfered via FTP to the hard drive.

My second small delima is that the hard drive I currently have in it is 2 things. #1 loud as hell, 2# only 80gb.

So if anybody has a quiet IDE hard drive laying around that is in the 120gb range or bigger, and would like to donate it, I will pay shipping on it.

How come you are only going with a 120gb? You can put a 1tb or higher, you just need an SATA to IDE adapter.

BTW, you have me turning a Xbox DVD sideways wondering how to get the disc to stay still. Maybe you can just do it like the 360 drive?

Well my hopes were that somebody might have one laying around that they would be willing to donate.
If I could afford to buy an extra hard drive right now it would go in my sig rig.

picture update.
Just thought I though I would put this in here.
TEC

Fan mod I did next to the Cd drive to provide more air flow.

Mod I did to the CD drive to get rid of the huge bulge on the bottom

Makeshift gpu fan that I might use in the build. I pulled it from a laptop.
My work bench at the moment.

GPU heatsink mod I did to allow it to fit next to the phenom heatsink on the CPU.

Fan grills that I want to use, the bigger one for the 120mm fan, and then the 80mm grill for possibly the top of the case, but Im not sure about that one yet.

lol, I am not implamenting the TEC into this xbox.
