Antec 900 FP Audio Static and Noise

Thread Starter
If i plug headphones into the front panel audio headphone jack, there's a bunch of static and noise. There is no static when my headphones are plugged into the jack on my Lycosa (keyboard).

The FP audio is connected to ONBOARD AUDIO via HD Audio (might try AC97 if that will make a difference)

I don't have a sound card installed right now, but when i plugged the HD Audio to my sound card it did the same thing.

I would guess it's due to analog electrical interference.
But there isn't much I can do about that.

Anyone else having this issue?

i have the SAME issue man...it's because of digital noise. when you cross wires in your case from the USB bus on the mobo to the case inputs you have the wire crossing all kinds of power cables and the inputs built into the 900's aren't CRAZY high quality. I just plug my headphones into my speakers headphone input. It's just a Antec issue. my dad has an Antec 300 and he has the same issue. just the jack isn't great quality tongue.gif
