xfx hd 6850 + Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin turbo

hi just wanted to know if it is a worth while upgrade to add this cooler onto the xfx 6850 as its pretty cheap i do play quite a few pc games from NFS to COD and the standard fan does get preety loud as i dont have the game volume up much so can hear the fans spining just wanted to know if any one has this cooler on there 6850 and does the kit come with everything i need or do i need to order the v001 kit for it also where can i get this v001 kit for the UK or do i have to go direct with Artic

From what I have read and seen on reviews, the 6850 is not a card that should require or need aftermarket cooling. It runs very cool and uses little power. But if you like it why not? If its too loud then maybe you should.

the fans just to loud for me as at auto its usually stays on 40% and gets quite annoying as its the loudest thing in the rig

i put the Twin Turbo Pro on the Sapphire. Its worth the $30 upgrade.

You get RAM heatsinks too. The VRM heatsinks need to be modded though. You'll need to cut them into smaller sizes.

Put the TTP on a 6870, great performance, but as bluetroll said you have to modify some sinks
