I've seen a lot of people gripe about the 24-pin connector that you have to plug your main power into which isn't the greatest in order to get the top case power button to work. Is there a way to eliminate this? The splitter seems really bad quality and one pin on mine is busted out the gate. I assume they are doing this for some reason. Perhaps constant power is provided ot the 24-pin when plugged into the wall since it's a touch sensitive power button? Any input on if this can be modded would be appreciated.

Thanks.
