Wow, I remember this game too. I went from Glorious Lord, all the way to Dread Lord. Good times. It was a great game back then. Too bad it just went downhill after that.

Are there any games coming out similar to UO?

Tibia, although it actually came out before UO, and its based off of Ultima 6.

Attacking other players and looting them? Check. They actually have a PVP-enforced world where you gain experience from killing other players.

Player housing? Check. They also have guild housing as well.

That added element of knowing that if you die you'll lose your **** makes it pretty fun actually. Your health also doesn't magically regenerate after every battle. You need to find food to heal yourself. And its not like WoW where you just hop from quest to quest and never have to worry about your equipment. The economy is entirely player driven, and most of your equipment will come from other players. Later on you will probably start hunting tougher monsters for the loot that you will sell to other players. Killing a hero and finding a crown shield kinda feels like winning the lottery.

Of course most of what I've said comes from nostalgia. I was playing this game before Blizzard even announced WoW, and I still pick it up now and then and compare what its like now to what it used to be. It's been corrupted a little, but its still very much its own unique game.

Unfortunately the game has the same problems as the southern united states. Everyone speaks spanish and if you don't it can be tough.

So far one such game I have played is Rohan Blood Feud. The game includes regular actions such as attacking, looting, using skills and expressions. You can make friends and enemies, fight spectacular battles, and take part in awesome game features that will keep you glued to your seats.

Check it out.
