Hello everyone, new to the site...

Well I just put together my first i7 930 build and I got it up to 4ghz but I'm having a strange issue.
When it's under load, my temps don't change??

Is it a sensor error?
Or did i forget something in BIOS?
Help!

How long do you have it under load? Try using a different temp monitoring program, like core temp and see if it gives the same results.

Screw temps and overclock!

Try looking at the "CPU" temp and not the "CORE" temps to give you an idea of the temperature.

Could be a bust sensor. Do any other temps change on your rig? (i.e. NB, SB, ect..)

The strange part is it shows your high temps one minute before you started Prime... And low temps while prime is running...
Have you tried any other stress programs and are you sure Prime is actually running?Do you have anything monitoring your cpu usage?

Bad sensors... Load optimized defaults and run Intel Burn Test with both coretemp and HWmonitor open and take screen shots of idle & load...

You may need to RMA the cpu or send it into Intel.
Where did you buy it?

I think probably a busted sensor or there's something wrong with RealTemp(which I doubt)
