New headset

Thread Starter
Just got the Razer Carcharias for christmas from my grandparents, I have been testing them out with different computers, and I can definitly tell the difference between a regular laptops sound card, and my IBM laptop sound card.

They must put really high end sound cards in IBM's.

anyway, would you guys recommend a sound card for my sig rig?

If so I don't want to see some 100 dollar sound card, just something cheap that will be better then intergrated.

Well if you don't want spend 100$ the onboard would be just as good as any 50$ soundcard Well imo.

how would that DG compare to a sound blaster? or are sound blasters pretty much out of the running for cheap quality sound cards?

Reviews say it's a great step-up from onboard, this what I've heard from others as well. I'll be buying in it soon as well.

well, if you can afford the DX, get the DX. It is better than the DG.
