My old thermaltake looks like a toy next to this monster

When fitting megahalems rev.b, I had no idea that in couple of months time I will be running W/C

Best fans for megahalems push/pull configuration

Needed this as I'm on AM3

Board goes in, so far so good...

Oh sh**... this beast is going to block my ram slots....

...and yes it does, 2 of them, which is ok as I only use 2 sticks so far.

All powered up and waiting for the fan controller to arrive...

It's here...

Fitted an looking good...
Waiting for the 5970...

5970 arrives...

5970 compared to my old 4870...

5970 fitted and powered up. All is fine.
Waiting for the PSU...

Corsair PSU arrives.

Corsair 850HX compared to Enermax Liberty 620..

PSU fitted and I have decided to go water cooled.
Ordered all the parts... let's fast forward...

GPU water block arrives....

Can't wait to fit it...

ThermoChill PA120.3 arrives...

3x Scythe Ultra Kaze 2000RPM 38mm fans are fitted..

Compression fittings arrive. I Don't like the chrome look so I decide to spray paint tem black.
Check the link to see how I did it: http://www.overclock.net/other-hardw...l#post11745345

All done and they came out better than I expected...

CPU water block arrived..

Will need to fit AM3 holder plate thingy..

Reservoir also arrived...

And D5 top too...

MCP655 is here... First thing is to change its top...

EK-D5 X-TOP will provide better looks and 1/4 thread for compression fittings.

Much better, also removed the white sticker.

XSPC 1/2" ID - 3/4" OD White Hose - no substitutes...

Radiator is fitted...

Opened the CPU water block to change mounting plates...

While I'm there I'll change the jet plate to a higher flow one...

These CNC-routed grooves are insanely small/precise...

mounting plate in place; ready to assemble...

Time to remove the 5970 stock cooler. This went smoothly..

The card on its own looks so fragile, it's almost scary to handle it...

Removed the old thermal paste.

I'll be using MX-3 as it has exceptional heat transfer capability.

Thermal pads are fitted...

After MX-3 is applied, Water block is fitted..

Looks so tasty I could have it for breakfast..

Backplate fitted with slight modification..

Fitted the CPU and GPU...

Let's measure the pipes..

Pipes measured and cut..

Fitting the pipes..

Fitting the pipes continued...

Filling the system with distilled water + PT Nuke..

Leak testing for about 20 hours. Everything appears to be ok.

All done! Enjoy the rest of the pics..

It will most likely going to be upgraded/changed etc. As you all very well know, one doesn't just build a water rig and leaves it alone

Thanks for checking it out.
All your feedback and comments are greatly appreciated.
