The right temp?

Thread Starter
Hey all

I installed new case fans, and now, during Modern Warfare 2 play, my "Core" (on speedfan tends to hang around the high forties low fifties, AKA 48c - 50c

Is this perfectly normal? Is there anything I can do to reduce the temp even more?

I have an exhaust fan next to the GPU, an exhaust fan at the back just below the PSU, and this CPU cooler: [ame="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Arctic-Cooling-Freezer-Extreme-Socket/dp/B001A5WORQ"]Arctic Cooling Freezer Extreme Multi Socket CPU Cooler: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories[/ame]

Thanks

Tom

If you live in a cold climate you can just open a window.

Or... you could upgrade your fans and CPU cooler.

Those temperatures are fine though.

They're find temperatures. If your running in a warmer area with a hotter ambient temp maybe switching the air con on? If your case has lots of ventillation also perhaps sitting it under the aircon to get maximum benefit?

You will notice a drop in temperatures for not even paying a buck biggrin.gif

If you are doing the above and you are worried maybe look into some cooling measures like aftermarket cpu coolers etc.
